Are you or someone you know preparing for an upcoming wedding? If so, then I am sure you are feverishly getting all your decorations together. If you are in need of some lovely tabletop decorations, check out these vintage bottles wedding centerpieces. Martha Stewart veteran Kristin St. Clair creates a custom centerpiece with vintage bottles and a fun coat of paint. In order to achieve this look on bottles, you will need to use the Martha Stewart spray paint kit. The Martha Stewart Crafts™ High Gloss Finish Spray Paint Kit converts all Martha Stewart Crafts™ paint, except glitter paint, into aerosol paint. The High Gloss Spray Medium is recommended for use with High Gloss, Metallic or Pearl Paints. However, you can mix with other craft paints to alter the finish. You can find this spray kit at your local Michaels craft store. Click here to learn more about the spray kit.

FolkArt stencils are so versatile, and can be used on several different projects. One great example of how versatile these stencils can be, is shown in this Children’s ABC Play Table. Melanie from Reasons to Skip the Housework made this play table for her daughter. She used our FolkArt chevron all over stencil, along with FolkArt acrylic paint to dress up this table. When you see the before shot of the table, you won’t believe how well this table came out. This is a great weekend craft project to make, and once your done you will have a great play space for your kids. 1. Tell us a little bit about yourself and your site Handmade Charlotte. How long have you been crafting and when did you start Handmade Charlotte?
I’m a mother to five wildly talented children who invent things and inspire me everyday. My husband and I were married 15 years ago in a tiny courthouse outside of Atlanta, and we didn’t tell anyone. Some people call that eloping Handmade Charlotte went live in 2009 and we’ve been in a love affair with our audience ever since. I’m a child of the 70′s and the craft explosion that wrapped that era hit my mother hard. I grew up with candle making, basket weaving, pottery, and knitting. I’ve crafted my entire life!
With Easter just a few days away, the clock is ticking but there are still several things you can craft for this holiday. The most popular thing to craft this time of year is Easter Eggs. Have you noticed all the amazingly decorated eggs that people are creating? There are tons of boards on Pinterest dedicated to just Easter eggs. Check out our Easter board here. A word of caution, once on Pinterest you can become quickly addicted to all the visual goodness.
In addition to finding great Easter egg projects on Pinterest, we have one more to share with you. Feast your eyes on this Egg Tabletop Trio. This trio was created using several FolkArt paint. This is a very unique spin on the traditional Easter egg. The colors used throughout are perfect for spring. Below you will find the supplies needed, along with their instructions.

After raising two boys who love monsters, dragons, dinosaurs, and alien creatures I was thrilled beyond words to welcome my first grandchild – a girl, Penelope Rose. Finally! Now, it is time for dolls, crowns, fairy dust and tutus! To my surprise those glittery, fluffy, girly things take a back seat for sweet Penny Rose. At 18mos. old, she is full of energy, comical, obsessed with books (especially those about Dinosaurs) just like her daddy! She learned to roar like a dinosaur before she learned to say “Mama and Dada.”
In hunting for a fitting Easter gift, I found a wonderful Dinosaur basket at my local craft store, which inspired me to fill it with something fun, instead of candy… such as a game. I made dino egg shaped beanbags with numbers to aid in learning to count! I simply sewed fabric beanbags, cut numbers from fabric using Plaid stencils, and adhered the numbers to the bags with Fabric Mod Podge. I filled my eggs with rice and dried beans. I know she will enjoy this basket all year long. Happy Easter Penny Rose and thanks for this opportunity to reminisce about raising boys who still love dinosaurs! Below you will find all the supplies needed, along with their step by step instructions. Click here to find the egg pattern you will need to complete this project.
