Photo transferring is a very popular craft technique. With this technique you can create decals or appliqués from any original photo or artwork. We here at Plaid have a Mod Podge Photo Transfer Medium available in a 2oz and 8oz. This medium can be applied to hard surfaces and fabric. Photo transferring is a hot trend in the craft/DIY field right now, and there are thousands of great projects all over the web and Pinterest displaying this technique. One project that recently caught our attention was these silhouette knobs. Karen from The Graphics Fairy, created these unique knobs using Mod Podge photo transfer medium. Have you heard of or tried Mod Podge Photo Transfer? This is a hot new crafting technique that allows you to imbed photos on any craft surface. With this technique you can create gifts and more.
Photocopy image and cut to size.
Apply thick layer of Mod Podge Photo Transfer Medium to image side of copy.
Place face up on wax paper; allow to dry 24 hours.
Place moist sponge on top of paper. Slowly rub away paper.
Image is now a decal. Carefully peel up image from wax paper.
Apply to surface face up.

Not everything you create for Halloween needs to be scary, it can be decorative as well. Take this Halloween Table Runner, it is the perfect way to dress up your table for this holiday. Gina from The Shabby Creek Cottage created this project, and in it she used a very special product, Mod Podge photo transfer medium. With this you can create decals or appliques from any original photo. Use it on hard surfaces or fabrics that you can hand wash.
