With the holidays just around the corner, I can’t help but think about fun crafts for the kiddos. Of course, this could be due to the fact that I have five children moving about the house that are always making something. The “something” doesn’t always make it to the mantel, if you know what I mean. It might be a hot-glued red fur ball with one eyeball, or some sort of slimy-but-not -sure-why pipe cleaner contraption.

If you would like a creative way to countdown make this Screen Printed Advent Calendar. We stumbled across this project on the blog, Mom’s Crafty Space. Heidi designed this calendar using several Martha Stewart craft paints. If you are new to crafting with silkscreens then this is a great project to try.
