As a crafter I have several craft supplies, that are not as organized as they could be. I am sure I am not alone in this. It’s ok if you are like me, and can use some help to organize all those supplies. Here is a great video to watch that will show you some eco friendly ways organize your crafts. Today I am blogging from CHA. We are almost done setting up our booth, and we are so excited for tomorrow. Although we are hard at work here, I did want to share with you this amazing DIY video I recently found on YouTube. Now I know people use Mod Podge on tons of their own craft projects, but I had never seen someone use Mod Podge on a purse. This is such a creative, and easy to do project. Learn from Martha Stewart how to Personalize a Mug
Yesterday there was an interesting post on Martha Stewart’s blog. I love this blog. There are always so many helpful and creative craft tips and tricks to learn. Martha had CNBC’s Mad Money host, Jim Crammer, on and taught him how to personalize a mug. The supplies used to decorate these mugs included, Martha’s peel off stencils, and Martha Stewart craft paints. Usually personalization of certain items can be a little costly. Well this is a very affordable way to personalize something. This is a great craft to create perhaps sometime over the weekend. Make sure you watch the video, it’s really funny

Scene it Saturday: How To Customize A Wipe Case Using Mod Podge

Scene it Saturday: How to glitter shoes using Mod Podge
Crafting and fashion can go together pretty easily. I love mixing the two. Recently I came across this video of a girl using Mod Podge to create glitter pumps. How cute are these? I usually love anything glitter, but these shoes are an absolute must have item. This is a great craft project to do over the weekend. Jazz up some shoes you already own, by adding some glitter to them. It will really make them pop. Please let us know if you have used Mod Podge on any other fashion items.

Get Organized In The New Year: Ways to organize your crafts
Gather and Group similar items: Go around your house and gather all your fabrics, paintbrushes, paint bottles, embellishments, etc… This is the first step in getting organized. Once you are able to see all you have, then you can group these items together to determine what type of storage box can hold them.
Visit your local container/supply stores: Take sometime to explore these types of stores in your local area. Also don’t forget to check Target and Walmart, as they also carry great supply boxes. You can stores craft items in boxes, towers, tackle boxes, and totes
Label Everything: It might serve you well to invest in an electric labeler, if you don’t have one already. Use this to label your boxes, containers, or notebooks. This will allow you to find things a lot easier.
Upcycle Some Old Furniture: Take an old piece of furniture, or a great flea market find, and use it to create a stylish storage space. This extra storage space can come in handy when you are looking for additional space to store your craft supplies.
Pick A Place: Choose a place/room in your home to serve as your craft area. If you don’t have enough room, try converting your computer station or a mini vanity, into your craft center.
