TGIF Project: Gallery Glass Santa Star Ornament
I’m so pleased to share with you one of the most popular projects on the Plaid Online site – EVER. Isn’t he cute? I love his skinny ankles! Ha ha ha! Seriously though, he is so loved (and has been for years) that I had to share him with you. He was done by internal designer Laura Brunson using Gallery Glass, and I especially like his metallic Liquid Leading. You can make him yourself with the instructions here.

TGIF Project: Santa Frame Ornaments and Contest
Is it too early to think about holiday decor? Absolutely not in the world of crafts! It may seem like it’s far away, but in crafting terms it’s right around the corner. With the tight economy, handmade gifts are going to be a staple this year. Get it on the crafting action!
Plaid is celebrating the 12 weeks before Christmas, and one of our featured projects is this Santa frame ornament duo. You simply paint the frames, insert some scrapbook paper and then paint the designs within. These are so tiny that it goes quickly – you can have these done in a couple of hours this weekend!
