Today on Paint Me Plaid we are discussing non-traditional colors you can incorporate this holiday season. Don’t feel obligated to stick with the traditional colors, experiment a little and try something new. One of the best non-traditional holiday colors to use are shads of blue. An icy blue or turquoise hue is a very festive color. In case you are thinking about using blue as apart of your holiday table check out the table below. This is a great example of how well you can mix icy blue, silver and black together. The white and blue table elements standout nicely against the black chairs and place mats. When you think of winter holidays usually the colors that come to mind are red and green. These are the traditional colors of the season, but things are changing and colors are becoming more vibrant. A new holiday color trend that has been popping up are the color combo Turquoise and White. This combination is an eye-catching trend and one that makes your traditional decorations really pop. Trenice Bishop, a freelance designer, recently used this color trend in a wreath she made. To create this wreath Trenice used FolkArt paints.
