Freelance Friday: DIY Painted Toms

BEFORE

AFTER

It seems like everywhere I look nowadays, all I see are DIY shoes. Shoes have definitely become one of the most popular surfaces to craft on. I am constantly amazed to see how creative and crafty people can get with them. One that recently caught my eye were these DIY painted Toms. A girl named Lauren created these shoes. You can check out her craft blog, Lauren Acklin, here. As you can see from the before picture, these shoes are very basic and simple. All white, that’s what you get, until this designer added some Apple Barrel paint to them. I love these shoes, and how they were designed. I would use the word, awesome, to describe how fabulous these Toms are. To learn how Lauren made these click here.
