I am not sure what the temperature is like where you are, but this winter here in Atlanta has been weird. One day it’s 60 degrees, and then the next day drops to 30 degrees. Crazy right?! I am so anxious for spring but until then I still need to make sure I have accessories to keep warm. One of my favorite winter accessories are scarves. In case you are looking for a way to design you own scarf this winter, you should try out Plaid’s Simply Screen DIY Kit. With this kit you can create a screen print in minutes. The scarf above was made by Jacinda, over on Prudent Baby. To see how she made this design click here. The Simply Screen DIY Kit is available at Hobby Lobby, and Plaid Online.
Our Simply Screen week on Paint Me Plaid is coming to a close. We hope you have enjoyed all the Simply Screen projects we have shared with you. The possibilities are endless with all the designs you can create, with the new Simply Screen DIY Kit. This kit is sold exclusively at Hobby Lobby. Here is another tutorial from Today’s Creative Blog. In this video tutorial you will learn how to create a personalized t-shirt design. Another week is coming to an end. Do you have any crafting plans or projects you are working on this weekend? In case you need a suggestion, here’s two. One of our craft blogger friends, Jennifer, from Always in Wonder, recently made these two retro inspired t-shirt designs. Jennifer was able to create these designs using Plaid’s Simply Screen DIY Kit. She made these t-shirts for her two little one. They are so precious This is a great project to re-create for members of your family, and also for yourself. Click here to see how Jennifer made these shirts. Have a great weekend and enjoy!
The holiday season is a great time of year to craft decor for your home. The one thing I love about crafting is that you can create beautiful projects, that are very simple to make. Take this project for instance created by Sara from, Mom Endeavors. Sara created this joyful Christmas message using Plaid’s Simply Screen DIY Kit. This project is so cute. I think I may use this as inspiration to create some Christmas cards. To learn how Sara created this joyful message click here.
It’s hump day, and day 3 of Simply Screen week here on Paint Me Plaid. In case you missed some of this week’s earlier Simply Screen projects click here to see them. Today we are sharing this Read Bag project that was created by Charlie, author of the craft blog, Attempting Aloha. Charlie used the Simply Screen DIY Kit to create this project. What a great message to select, to use on this bag. Reading is not only an important skill to have, but also reading is fun and a great way to learn new things daily. Seeing this bag makes me want to head to Barnes and Noble immediately Click here to see how Charlie made this eco-friendly, and stylish bag.
Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Did you craft anything? Well today I wanted to show off this adorable screen printed t-shirt, that was created with our Simply Screen DIY Kit. This project was created by Brittany, from Pretty Hand Girl. She did an awesome job making this t-shirt for her little one. A perfect design right on time for the holidays. Brittany has written a very detailed and informative blog post on how she created this t-shirt, and used our Simply Screen Kit. Click here to learn how to re-create this project. Also make sure you view her video tutorial on this project also. I love that she made a video. Videos are another great way to learn how to craft.
