The reindeer is one of the most iconic holiday figures. I don’t know what it is about them, but every time I see a reindeer I can’t help but to smile. That’s exactly what I did when I first saw these adorable reindeer holiday coasters. These coasters were made by one of our craft blogger friends, Myra. Her blog is called, My Blessed Life. Myra created these holiday coasters using products from the new Martha Stewart craft line. These coasters are a great homemade gift. Freelance Friday: Holiday Stenciled Sign
Signs are one of the most popular kinds of crafts that people tend to make. When you create a sign you can be as creative as you like. You can make a sign that is small, or one that covers an entire wall. Take for instance this sign from one of our favorite craft blogs, Tatertots and Jello. This sign was created using stencils and paints from the Martha Stewart craft line, available at Michaels. Would you like to re-create this project? “Dear Plaidie Laddie, I have been a long time customer and fan of Plaid craft products. I was so excited when I learned of the new Martha Stewart craft line. I have bought several items, such as paints, and stencils. I am interested in getting the spray paint kit, however I wanted to know, on what surfaces can I spray paint, and how should I clean my tools? Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.” – Jennifer from Columbus, Ohio
Jennifer thank you very much for your questions. This spray paint kit can be applied on wood, tin, ceramic, glass, terra cotta, canvas, plastic, papier-mâché, Styrofoam, and plaster. On glass and ceramics, use for decorative purposes only; do not use where surface will come into contact with food or beverages. In order clean the spray paint kit remove sprayer from bottle immediately after use. Cap and store unused paint mixture. Remove plastic tube and rinse under running water. Reattach tube and place in cup of water. Spray away from you until water runs clear.
We received these questions via email. If you would like to ask Plaidie Laddie a question please send it to: paintmeplaid@gmail.com. In the subject line please title it Plaidie Laddie Question.
