When it comes to jewelry, I don’t know any girl that doesn’t love it. Jewelry is a girl’s best friend, and can be worn in many different ways. Aside from receiving jewelry or buying it, I enjoy making jewelry from time to time. The best thing I love about making jewelry is that when someone asks you where you bought that, you become all warm and fuzzy inside, because you made it! I recently came across this DIY earring tutorial from, Think Crafts. I love this project especially, because I mainly prefer to wear post earrings, and it was made using FolkArt paint. These earrings are simple, yet flashy. Wear them paired with a cocktail dress, or with a cute top and jeans. If you want to do it on your own, here’s what you’ll need:
- 0.25 oz polymer clay
- 1 pair earring studs
- Jewelry adhesive (E600) or Super Glue
- Acrylic paint – I mixed 1/2 Folk Art Metallic Pure Gold and 1/2 Folk Art Metallic Taupe to get the color I wanted
- Paintbrush
- Razor Blade
