Happy Halloween! Ok so, I may be jumping the gun a little bit, but this is such an exciting time of year especially if you are a crafter. One of the best surfaces to craft on is pumpkins. Even if you’re not into Halloween, a decorated pumpkin can be used as a nice accent piece throughout the fall season. Before you head to your local craft store for supplies make sure your pumpkins are on trend this year.
Monogram: Personalize a pumpkin with one or several letters. Monograms are a great way to add some character and fun to an otherwise plain background. Monogram a pumpkin with your initials, or the first letter of your name.
Black & White: When these two colors combine oh what an elegant sight they make. Elegant themed pumpkins are a hot trend not just for Halloween, but also for the entire fall season. Decorate a pumpkin or a few in black in white. This would make for a great centerpiece, or porch décor.
Painted Patterns: Patterns are always trendy in the craft industry, and they are trendy for pumpkin decorating as well. One of the hottest craft trends of the year was the chevron pattern. Create this and other patterns on your pumpkins this year.
