Howdy Plaid Crafters! I’m Kate from Cheap Crafty Mama and I am thrilled to be here today to share with you how I made this cute and simple Father’s Day footprint plaque! I am always a sucker for projects that involve my little artist’s hand and footprints. I’m blown away by how quickly he grows and want to remember every step along the way!
I am a former professional decorative painter turned stay-at-home-mom and I am always creating new things. I love to make crafts, gifts, food, home decor/renovations, crafts with kids and blog about how to do all of those things! Please come visit me at cheapcraftymama.com to join in the fun! Also I would love for you to visit my weekly linky party called “Pin It and Win It Wednesdaay”– where you can win free ad-space on my blog!
This year for Father’s day we made this adorable footprint plaque. I think it turned out super cute and you will be amazed by how simple it is to make!
- a pre-cut piece of wood (mine is from Hobby Lobby)
- 1 piece of scrapbook paper (Hobby lobby as well)
- Mod Podge
- scissors
- acrylic paint (I used Folk Art “coffee bean”, “barnwood”, and white)
- white paint pen
- paint brush (I love this Martha Stewart Crafts brush!)
