When it comes to jewelry, I don’t know any girl that doesn’t love it. Jewelry is a girl’s best friend, and can be worn in many different ways. Aside from receiving jewelry or buying it, I enjoy making jewelry from time to time. The best thing I love about making jewelry is that when someone asks you where you bought that, you become all warm and fuzzy inside, because you made it! I recently came across this DIY earring tutorial from, Think Crafts. I love this project especially, because I mainly prefer to wear post earrings, and it was made using FolkArt paint. These earrings are simple, yet flashy. Wear them paired with a cocktail dress, or with a cute top and jeans. See the video below for instructions to follow, and please check out Think Crafts for more great craft ideas.
If you want to do it on your own, here’s what you’ll need:
- 0.25 oz polymer clay
- 1 pair earring studs
- Jewelry adhesive (E600) or Super Glue
- Acrylic paint – I mixed 1/2 Folk Art Metallic Pure Gold and 1/2 Folk Art Metallic Taupe to get the color I wanted
- Razor Blade
